06 / FAQ

Before you walk in.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes, walk-ins are welcome and clients mention getting in even close to closing time. Artist availability changes through the day, so call (239) 224-2111 and we will tell you who is free.

How much does a tattoo cost, and do you ask for a deposit?

It depends on size, detail and placement, so we do not post prices. Call us and we will explain how quotes and deposits work for your piece.

Can I bring my own idea or design?

Yes. Bring photos, a sketch or just an idea. The artist designs it with you and checks size and colors while working.

Can my child get their ears pierced?

Yes, kids come in for ear piercing, with a parent or guardian. The station is sterile and the material is sealed. Call us for age requirements and what paperwork to bring.

How do I take care of a new tattoo?

Your artist will give you exact instructions, and those come first. In general: keep it clean, do not pick or scratch, and keep it out of pools, the ocean and direct sun while it heals. Read the Blog entry below.

How do I choose between black and grey, fine line or color?

Look at the Work section and tell us what you have in mind. Ivan is named most for black and grey realism, Arian for fine line, but the best step is to call and talk it through.

Two things worth knowing.

Aftercare

How to care for a new tattoo

Your artist’s instructions come first. This is the general idea for the first weeks.

  1. Wash gently. Clean hands, lukewarm water, mild unscented soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
  2. Keep it moisturized, lightly. A thin layer of the aftercare your artist recommends. More is not better.
  3. Do not pick or scratch. Peeling and itching are normal. Picking pulls out ink.
  4. Stay out of water and sun. No pools, ocean or hot tubs while it heals, and keep it covered from direct sun. This matters in Florida.
  5. Know the warning signs. Spreading redness, heat, swelling, pus or fever: see a doctor.
Choosing

How to choose a tattoo artist

Cheap and fast is rarely the right filter. A few better ones.

  1. Match the style. Black and grey realism, fine line and color are different crafts. Pick the artist who does yours.
  2. Look at healed work. Fresh photos always look good. Ask what it looks like later.
  3. Read what clients say. Look for reviews that describe the process: did they listen, take their time, check sizing?
  4. Check the setup. Clean station, sealed material, paperwork in order.
  5. Talk first. A good artist asks questions and tells you honestly if something will not work.
